Zoom Teeth Whitening

Did you know that, on average, the first thing people notice about you is your smile? Your smile can shape a person’s first impression, and the appearance of your teeth plays a big role in that. While regular dental hygiene is crucial, maintaining a white smile might require a little extra care. Fortunately, the Smile Time Dental team is here to help you brighten your smile with ZOOM Teeth Whitening.

Teeth Whitening That’s Fast, Easy, and Affordable

If a treatment takes too long, it’s not worth your time. With ZOOM Teeth Whitening, you’ll achieve a brighter smile in under an hour! Stains from coffee, tea, cigarettes, and other substances can be tough to remove, but ZOOM Whitening provides a quick and cost-effective solution to these common problems.

What To Expect From Zoom Teeth Whitening

During your first ZOOM Teeth Whitening appointment at Smile Time Dental, our team will assess the condition of your teeth to ensure they’re ready for whitening. If we find any issues, like gum disease, worn enamel, or cavities, we’ll address them before proceeding with the whitening treatment.

Once your teeth are ready, here’s what you can expect:

  1. Preparation: We’ll disinfect and polish your teeth to ensure a smooth surface for the whitening gel.

  2. Lip Protection: We’ll apply a special lip balm to protect your lips from irritation during the procedure.

  3. Retractor Placement: A retractor will gently pull back your lips to expose your teeth.

  4. Tongue Support: You’ll relax your tongue on a cup placed in your mouth with the retractor, keeping it still throughout the treatment.

  5. Shade Selection: Using a shade guide, you’ll choose the desired shade of white for your smile. A “before” photo will be taken, and a bib will protect your clothes.

  6. Gum Protection: We’ll apply a protective solution to your gums to shield them from the whitening gel.

  7. Gel Application: The whitening solution will be carefully brushed onto your teeth.

A certified ZOOM Whitening dentist will then use a specialized laser light to activate the whitening gel. This process typically lasts about 15 minutes. Throughout the procedure, we’ll check your teeth, reapply the whitening gel as necessary, and remove any excess gel to avoid irritation. We’ll repeat the process until you’re happy with the brightness and shade of your smile.

Once you’re satisfied with the results, we’ll wipe away the remaining gel, remove the retractor, and allow you to rinse your mouth. Finally, we’ll apply a finishing product and take an “after” photo so you can compare the results.

How to Whiten Your Teeth at Home

ZOOM Whitening Kits are the only professional-grade whitening kits designed for at-home use. These kits use a unique blend of amorphous calcium phosphate fluoride and potassium nitrate to minimize sensitivity and enhance results. Whether you prefer to use the kit overnight or during short daytime sessions, ZOOM Whitening can easily fit into your schedule.

Safe and Effective Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is generally safe, but at Smile Time Dental, we always take precautions to ensure the treatment is done as carefully as possible. ZOOM kits are powerful enough to whiten your smile by up to 8 shades in just 45 minutes. What’s more, they don’t cause the usual sensitivity that often comes with other whitening products. If you’re ready for a whiter, brighter smile, ZOOM Teeth Whitening is the perfect solution.

Frequently Asked Questions

Teeth whitening can cause some temporary sensitivity, but it usually fades within one to two days after treatment.

Most people are candidates for ZOOM Teeth Whitening. However, your dentist will assess your suitability for the treatment during your consultation.

Whitening has little effect on crowns or porcelain. However, it may slightly reduce the bond strength between composite restorations and enamel. It’s always a good idea to schedule a checkup with your dentist before starting any whitening regimen.
